Immediate Impact
To the west is the proposed new location of the community center with the existing parking lot remaining the same. The demolished community center site has the potential to become a place for peace and reflection by becoming a garden. The immediate impact focuses on developing a public biodiverse oasis featuring a central zen space. Recycled Art pieces and sculptures strategically scattered around the site ties in with the community’s impact on their natural surroundings. To the right are some examples of low cost solutions that could be implemented with very minimal cost and effort. It should be noted that the garden should still be enclosed with a gate or hedging landscape to create a barrier form the street during this phase

Long-Term Impact
The long term vision focuses on expanding the development of the garden to include a private community center garden that shares a central connection to the public one. The private portion could feature elements such as gardening bins, seating, a composting area, market stalls, etc. To the left you can see some precedent photos that helped inspire this design.
